Once you have made a booking on a tour and your booking is confirmed you will be required to make a deposit payment to within 7 days of making your booking. A deposit of US$500 per person is required. The main payment for the trip is due 2 months before the tour starts. Booking made less than 2 months before the tour start date will require full payment. In the case where we book flights for you it may be a condition of the booking that full payment is due earlier than our tour booking conditions. 

We are able to accept payment in USD or AUD. Payments in AUD will have a currency conversion rate applied on the day of the payment, not on the day of the client's booking.

Tour Inclusions

Each tour includes different services in terms of included activities, meals and transport. These will be detailed in your tour documentation. 


Should you (the client) choose to cancel a booking, must be notified in writing or by email. 

The following cancellation fees apply for the tour component:
 - 45 days or more before departure, loss of deposit
 - 44 to 30 days before departure, loss of 25% of tour cost
 - 29 to 14 days before departure, loss of 50% of tour cost
 - less than 14 days before departure, no refund.
No refund will be made should you voluntarily leave a tour early. 

The following cancellation conditions apply for flight bookings with Druk Air: 
 - 45 days or more before date of flight, full refund
 - 44 to 14 days before date of flight, loss of 50% of flight cost
 - less than 14 days before date of flight, no refund.
A $75 admin fee per ticket is applied and will be deducted from any refund amounts due to the client. A $75 fee also applies per ticket to any change in date requirements after flight tickets are issued.

Itinerary Changes reserves the right to change advertised itineraries before or during a tour in the interests of safety resulting from war, disease, natural disaster, safety, weather, or changed local conditions. The guide during a tour has the right to make any necessary changes to the itinerary for the reasons listed. Any client not adhering to changes made for these reasons will be deemed to have left the tour and is no longer under the care of 


It is a condition of participating in a tour that each traveller holds travel insurance for the duration of the trip. Insurance must include comprehensive medical and emergency evacuation. Your travel insurance details will be checked by your guide on arrival at the starting point hotel. We strongly recommend that you take out insurance coverage for cancellation at the same time as any bookings payments are made, as no exception to the cancellation provisions can be made.

Due to the nature of the style and locations that operate in, and their guides, leaders, and support staff do not accept responsibility for any loss, injury, illness, damage, accident, fatality, delay or inconvenience experienced from time of departure to time of return arising out of any such adventure trip organised by

Some of the the personal information collects with your booking may be provided to third party suppliers. This will only be done where required for legal reasons (eg. booking flight tickets, permits, hotel bookings in some countries). Your email address will not be shared with anyone!
